Associate Healthcare Provider Continuity Professional (AHPCP)

It supports entry-level proficiency with some knowledge in healthcare continuity planning, but is suitable for those who have not yet gained significant experience in business continuity. Obtaining your AHPCP certification proves your commitment to a professional career in healthcare business continuity management.
The Certification Process
The AHPCP level is for individuals with less than two years of industry experience with minimum knowledge in business continuity management, and have successfully passed the Healthcare Examination. It is for professionals with limited knowledge of healthcare business continuity, but who have not yet gained the necessary experience for advanced certification. This certification designation also targets interested individuals who have expertise in a health-related field e.g. hospitals, the healthcare system, public health agencies or health insurance companies. The application must conform to all the requirements applicable to the desired certification level. Once obtained, payment of the annual fee is the only requirement for maintaining the AHPCP level of certification.
AHPCP Certification Details
To apply for AHPCP certification, all applicants must:
- Pass the Healthcare Examination with a minimum score of 75%.
- After receiving notification of a passing score, complete the Online Application for Professional Certification by logging into your DRI account.

Important Note: This entire process can take several weeks. DRI International contacts all applicants upon approval. Once approved, professional certification status and recertification period documents are provided. If you are not approved and wish to re-apply, contact the Certification Department for additional information on how to re-apply.
Applicants are reminded that all course, exam, and results materials are confidential and should not be shared online or with other certified professionals. Sharing exam materials may result in revocation of existing certification credentials and possible legal action. All Certified Professionals must comply with the DRI International Code of Ethics to remain in good standing.
Certification Maintenance
Recertification is required for all certification levels. Regular recertification requires an ongoing commitment to continuing education and industry activities. There is a yearly maintenance fee for all certification levels. There are no CEAPs required for AHPCP.
