DRI International provides four levels of professional certification. DRII certification is well-respected and recognized world-wide as the standard for excellence in business continuity management.

 
   
Associate Business Continuity
ProfessionaL (ABCP)

The ABCP level is for individuals with less than two years of industry experience, but who have minimum knowledge in business continuity management, and have successfully passed the qualifying exam.

Certified Functional Continuity
Professional (CFCP)

DRII's newest certification is designed for individuals with a minimum of two years of experience who have passed the qualifying exam but don’t have the requisite experience to apply for the CBCP certification.

Certified Business Continuity
Professional (CBCP)

The CBCP certification is for individuals with a minimum of two years of enterprise wide experience as a business continuity / disaster recovery planner in 5 of the Professional Practice areas.

  Master Business Continuity
ProfessionaL (MBCP)

The Master level certification targets individuals with significant demonstrated knowledge and skills in business continuity management and a minimum of five years of experience as a business continuity planner.

Certified Business Continuity Vendor (CBCV)
The CBCV level is for individuals selling or providing services to the business continuity community. This individual may have less than two years of industry experience, but demonstrable knowledge of business continuity management, and have successfully passed the qualifying exam.

Retired Business Continuity Professional (RET)
The "Retired" category is reserved for those individuals who have achieved the CBCP or MBCP designation, and who have maintained their certification in good standing, for a minimum of five years prior to retiring from active employment or full or part-time consulting in the Business Continuity Planning profession.
